The story of a photographer
I've always been drawn to embracing creative outlets throughout each stage in my life. Photography is a newly found outlet for allowing me to tell stories and show the creative aspects of my life. I long to help tell authentic stories in a timeless + precious way.
I'm a native Texan, wife, mom, believer, Baylor Bear, counseling graduate, business woman, dog-lover, and storyteller. I met my husband, Barret, while we were both in graduate school (me for counseling, and him for dentistry). We met in 2018 through mutual friends setting us up (a pretty funny story), got married during the pandemic in May 2020 (and had a second larger celebration in August 2020), and have been best friends since day one. We added our favorite bernedoodle, Harley Davidson, to the mix in October 2020, and opened up our very own dental office, Texas Sage Dentistry, in March 2021 with the help of the best friends and family around. We welcomed our son into our family on August 5th, 2024, and cannot get enough of him! In my spare time, I can be found spending time with my family in Downtown McKinney, hanging out with dear friends + our church community, curled up with a good book, traveling (or at least dreaming of European travels), or outdoors with a camera in hand.
